How do I find the right tuning file for my car?
Find the hardware (HW) number and the software (SW) number of your engine control unit (ECU). The HW number is printed on the ECU label (for Bosch ECUs it usually starts with 0281 or 0261). The SW number is read from the ECU with a diagnostic or reading tool. Enter the HW or SW number in the shop search. Every product title shows the vehicle, year, engine power, ECU manufacturer, HW number, SW number and the modification.
What do I get when I buy an individual ECU file?
A ZIP archive with the original (stock) ECU file and the modified file(s) listed on the product page, for example Stage1, Stage2 or DPF/EGR OFF.
How is the file delivered?
Digitally. After the payment you receive an email with a download link. The link is also available in your customer account under order history. There is no physical shipment.
How fast will I receive my order?
Individual ECU tuning files are delivered immediately after the payment is confirmed. File packages and software are delivered within a few hours, at the latest within 24 hours after the purchase.
Which payment methods do you accept?
PayPal and debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and others), processed securely by PayPal.
What tools do I need to write the file?
A professional ECU reading/writing tool that supports your ECU (for example KESS, KTAG, MPPS or CMD). Always make a full backup of your original ECU before writing, and make sure the checksum is corrected when you write the file.
Will the file fit if my SW number is different?
No. A file is made for exactly one software version. Only buy the file if both the HW and the SW number match your ECU. If you cannot find your number, contact us at prodaja@fromserbia.rs before buying.
Can I get a refund if I bought the wrong file?
No. You must check before buying that the HW and SW number match your ECU. Because the products are digital files and you receive exactly the files you selected, no refund is made for a wrong purchase. If you are not sure, contact us before ordering.
